Empowering Youth to Make A Difference in the World
SELAH DANCE CAMP
The Selah Dance Camp is a community-based youth camp that offers a well-rounded experience that incorporates dance, drama, and art to cultivating the lives of youth. The camp is designed to help youth develop moral character and leadership, and grow in faith, while also providing an opportunity to have fun and make new friends. We are expecting approximately 100 youth to attend the camp this year to have their lives impacted in a positive manner.
Our camp is open to every young person between the ages of 5 and 17 years, however, many of our youth in the Pee Dee Region, who desire to attend, represent the disadvantaged and the under-served in our community. The cost of the full-day camp is $50 per student for a week-long experience. During the week on each day we provide workshops, breakfast, lunch, and a snack. At the end of the week-long camp, a recital is presented so that family members and friends of the participants get to witness their camp experience. We’ve kept the cost of the camp affordable, but many who would benefit and desire to attend are financially incapable to participate. That’s where we need your help.
You could make a tremendous difference by making a priceless contribution to the well-being of many young persons, and the revitalization of the community. Even a small amount of money will help a young person attend or provide funds to purchase much needed equipment and food for our participants.
